"Nothing will ever befall me that I will receive with gloom or a bad disposition. I will pay my taxes gladly. Now, all the things which cause complaint or dread are like the taxes of life — things from which, my dear Lucilius, you should never hope for exemption or seek escape."
— Seneca, Moral Letters
Pretty straight forward today's meditation. "Pay your taxes." No point moaning about it, as it's out of your control. The exact same with trading. Betfair take a commission from your profit and you accept it and move on! It won't help you and it most certainly won't make you feel any better about it, by complaining and/or getting annoyed!
It's much better to concentrate on what you can control and what you are doing to ensure consistency and profitability in the long term. Stick to the plan and don't get annoyed about things that are outside of your control!
