If this had been any normal week, I would have been elated with the money I have made so far. Truth be told, I wouldn't start trading again until F1 starts up. I have already taken a day off in this challenge and I think it wouldn't be fair to those who are following along with the challenge to do so again.
I turn on the coffee machine and while it heats up I consider what twist on the day I can implement. I think for far longer than was needed to make my coffee. I want to keep this interesting, you wouldn't be here reading if I did the same thing everyday. As I try to decide on a theme for today, I receive a phone call. It's from a manager of a company I own. He needs my help and it would be easier to do this from the main office, it's not a big problem at all, but one only I can sort.
I make my way to the shower and take my coffee with me, being careful to keep it out of the jets of the shower heads. I play the audio book I'm currently listing to over the speakers while I try and solve my own problem. With time being limited today by others needing it more than me, I have to plan my trading out.
That's it, today will be the day of 'set and forget'. I will place my trades in advance and set the prices I want to enter and exit at. Then close down the market for that. To keep it interesting, I will check the results at the end of the day.
Which markets can I trade with set and forget? I have never done the dogs with it, so that could be a good start. I open tradingthemarket.co.uk and navigate my way across the site to the stats page, along with opening up the Racing and Sports site. I start to profile the races, it's very different when you haven't got an established market. Not only am I going to have to figure out a price I want for a dog the place and the forecast, but I have to make sure the I'm being realistic on what I ask for. I decide on 7 races, more then I normally do, but I'm planning on not being matched on some.
Trades Placed: 7 Win Trades - 7 Place Trades - 14 forecast trades (7 FC and 7 RFC)
Now on to the horse racing, this will be a lot easier for me to trade as I can price horses up in my sleep. The market is so predictable on price, you can spot the margin the night before. So today should be easy with a bit of money in the field.
I placed 5 DOBs in total.
Last but not least, I will chuck a bit of football in, normally I wouldn't bother, but someone on the discord said James will do better then me because he trades football and I don't. After starting my betting career in punting on the football, I was offended. I worked in the football industry for 6 years, working from the bottom to holding a high office in some league clubs. I spent 10 years from the age of 8 to 18 in academy football, before being released due to the overwhelming lack of any ability. I wasn't too bothered, because now I got Saturdays off; in short, football is in my blood.
So let's place some set and forgets on the football markets. Watford vs West Brom. I'm going to go full force on this. I plan on trading the match odds, the over 0.5, O1.5, O2.5, O3.5, BTTS and correct score. Ahhhh fuck it, I will even do asian handicap market for fun. Before I undertook these trades, I spent almost 25 minutes checking this game out, only using 'Aaron's Sheets'. If you can do it in less time than me, then you're doing it wrong.
That's it, all trades placed and I have to rush out the door and crack on with the day.
That's it, discord off, Betfair closed. Only time will tell now. I will come back after the markets have settled with the days profit or loss.

The biggest limit of today was all the trades being in the market at once, which did not allow for me to trade with as big amounts as I could.
I'm open to suggestions on which limitations I use tomorrow.
Today was me showing the art of the possible, yet again. Time and money is not a limit I recognise. We often make excuses for not accomplishing something due to fear of trying. Time to eliminate tradefright.
