Want Nothing = Have Everything

John BoyUk, 29 August

"No person has the power to have everything they want, but it is in their power not to want what they don't have, and to cheerfully put to good use what they do have."
— Seneca, Moral Letters

Another great meditation today and when we look at this from a trading perspective, it is a little reminder for us to be happy to take what the markets offer us.

We know that we won't be profitable from every trade, but we also know that we will remain profitable, if we control and cut short the losses at our pre-agreed exit point to protect our trading bank.

So don't try and squeeze more than your targeted profit out of a trade and end up in a losing position, through pure greed. Stay patient and stick to the plan.

Be happy to take your targeted profit or your pre-agreed controlled loss and move on.

Keeping your discipline and maintaining the correct mindset, means that you can achieve this.

You've got this so get out there and prove to yourself that you can do it; because you know what? You can for sure!
