"Inwardly, we ought to be different in every respect, but our outward dress should blend in with the crowd."
— Seneca, Moral Letters
Today's meditation is not really something that we can compare to trading.
However, as we learn to become traders, nothing changes from the outside as we go about our daily business just as we did before.
But plenty is happening to us on the inside, as we become more patient and disciplined, sticking to the rules/criteria for our strategies.
We are becoming more consistent once we enter a trade, because we will either take our pre-planned targeted profit or the occasional controlled loss, at our pre-agreed exit point, to protect our bank.
All the time that we are learning and improving, there is inward change to our trading mindset and we become more confident, in consistently making the right choices.
Just like it says in the last line of today's meditation and I quote; "That's the change that only we know about" and of course from a trading perspective, this is "where it counts."
