"Indeed, if you find anything in human life better than justice, truth, self-control, courage — in short, anything better than the sufficiency of your own mind, which keeps you acting according to the demands of true reason and accepting what fate gives you outside of your own power of choice — I tell you, if you can see anything better than this, turn to it heart and soul and take full advantage of this greater good you've found."
— Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Another interesting meditation today and in life, success can come with it's own set of problems, because we can never have enough of a good thing!
Patience and discipline is a virtue that will benefit each and every one of us in our general everyday life, as it does when trading too of course.
When I look at this from a trading perspective, I find that sticking to the rules/criteria for my strategies and managing them fully to completion, keeps me grounded and suitably satisfied with my results.
Doing this on a regular basis, getting to know your strategies inside out and back to front, develops a confidence and
consistency in the way that you trade.
When you put in the hard work and stick to the plan, staying fully focused on the job in hand, you reap the rewards.
"Where is anything better?"
