It's Just A Number
"You aren't bothered, are you, because you weigh a certain amount and not twice as much? So why get worked up that you've been given a certain lifespan and not more? Just as you are satisfied with your normal weight, so you should be with the time you've been given."

We could relate the last line from today's meditation, to trading the markets and I quote; "Use today. Use every day. Make yourself satisfied with what you have been given."
So, to break that down and summarise; we use every day that we trade, to evolve and develop on our trading journey, by practising, executing and managing the trades from our strategies, to the best of our ability.
The more we take the time to practice, the more we will improve and we will become more confident and start to consistently make the right decisions.
It will also help with your mindset and you will create a peaceful trading environment for yourself, if you can accept and be satisfied, with what the markets have given you.
I am always grateful for the smallest of profits and scratch trades and even small losses should be celebrated, because you have just protected your trading bank, by managing those trades to completion and therefore avoiding a heavy uncontrolled loss.
Taking satisfaction from your trading and using the positives, will help you grow as a trader.
It won't all happen overnight of course, so you need to stay patient and disciplined and try to keep as positive as you can, as you slowly but surely get better and better, by getting to know your strategies inside out and back to front.
Stick fully and rigidly to the plan, without wavering, every day that you trade and you will gradually see improvement.
Remember, even the smallest improvement, is a positive and a step in the right direction, on your trading path!
